Vikram Pawah Quits As Managing Director Of Harley-Davidson India
Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director, Vikram Pawah has exited the company and could take a role with BMW Motorrad.
Harley-Davidson India's Managing Director, Vikram Pawah has exited the company, effective December 31, 2016. Industry insiders say that Vikram will take on a roll with BMW India soon.
In an official statement, Harley-Davidson India said, Harley-Davidson confirms that Vikram Pawah, Managing Director for India, has left the company effective December 31, 2016. We would like to thank Vikram for his contribution to our business in India, and we wish him success in his future endeavours."
"In the interim until a new Managing Director for India is appointed, Marc McAllister, VP and Managing Director for International Sales Markets, will oversee India operations, supported by the local team."
ETAuto got in touch with with a BMW Spokesperson via mail and the response was: "BMW Group cannot offer comments on speculation".
Vikram could take up a lead role with BMW Motorrad, as the brand is looking to launch the BMW G310R in India. If so, Shivapada Ray, who was named the head of BMW Motorrad could report to Pawah.
