GST Effect: Bajaj Dominar 400 Price Hiked

Bajaj Auto has hiked the price its flagship model, the Dominar 400 by Rs 2,000.

The new Goods and Service Tax (GST) is effective from July 1, 2017. It has made a significant impact on the Indian automobile market.

Citing the new tax regime, several automakers have revised the prices of their products. Bajaj Auto has also increased the price of its flagship model, the Dominar 400.

India.com Auto reports that Bajaj Auto has hiked the price of Dominar 400 by Rs 2,000. The two-wheelers above 350cc class will attract an additional cess of 3 percent, taking the total tax rate to 31 percent.

The ABS variant of the Dominar 400 is now priced at Rs 1,55,215 ex-showroom (Delhi), and the non-ABS variant will cost you Rs 1.41,054 ex-showroom (Delhi). It is the third time the Dominar 400 is witnessing a price hike.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 draws power from a 373cc liquid cooled, fuel injected engine producing 35bhp and 35Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also gets slipper clutch.
