Classic Two-Wheeled Beauties Set To Go Up For Auction
Classic Italian bikes get ready to be auctioned in March this year and you can buy them online also.
For bike enthusiasts, nothing is better than keeping a collection of classic motorcycles if they could. Well, don't be disappointed, as you can buy these classic Italian motorcycles which are being auctioned between March 4 and 8 in Italy.
Well, there is more to the list, you do not have to go to Italy to purchase these bikes. This is an online auction! The sale will feature around 50 motorcycles that were built between 1924 and 1964. Displacement of these bikes - between 100 and 200cc
And the list does not stop there, among them, apart from those bikes you can also have a 1960 Benelli 175S, 1950 Moto Guzzi Airone 4-stroke 250 cc, 1962 Ducati Elite 200, as well as a 1952 Ferrari 125 and a 1956 Maserati 125T.
After reading what is written above, there will be a question in your head. Did these bikes even exist? Well, my friends, the answer is YES. There were small-displacement motorcycles named Ferrari, but they were made by the Fratelli Ferrari brothers.
On the other hand, there were motorcycles called Maserati. They were made by Fabbrica Candele Accumulatori Maserati, aka, an Italian manufacturer of motoring components and motorcycles and mopeds. It was owned by Adolfo Orsi's industrial corporation which also included the Maserati car manufacturer.
The Price being asked for some of the bikes - The Maserati for €3,000, Ferrari for €10,000 (a similar Ferrari motorcycle sold last year for over $15,000)
Other than motorcycles, the auction also includes 40 mopeds and scooters. The list includes Kreidler Gebben motocross bike, 1969 Kreidler Floret K53/2NL, 1961 Demm Unificate 4-stroke, 1950 Ducati Cucciole 4-stroke, early 1950s Kreidler Amazone 2-stroke, and 1967 Sparta Tour GA with JLO motor.
The sale of these classic motorcycles and mopeds will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 4 to5 March 2017. Timings will be from 10.00 to 15.00 at 9 Katwolderweg, Zwolle. And if you want to purchase them online, you will have to visit - https://en.bva-auctions.com/auction/lot/25809 - which is until 9 February 2017.
