The Government of India has banned the manufacturing and sales of the BS-III vehicles from April 1, 2017. Before the ban of BS-III vehicles, many motorcycles manufacturers offered hefty discounts to clear the BS-III stock.
Indian wing of the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM India was also left with BS-III compliant motorcycles. Many KTM dealers offered massive discounts to clear the BS-III inventory.
The most popular motorcycle from the stable of KTM, the Duke 390 was also offered with huge discounts. But the question is can you still buy the unsold BS-III models?
Well, the answer is no, because there is hardly any stock left. The Duke 390 was selling like hot cakes in the Indian market, and there is no possibility of a large number of unsold BS-III motorcycles lying in the dealerships.

KTM has updated its entire product portfolio to meet the BS-IV emission norms. The 2017 Duke is available with a price tag of Rs 2.50 lakh Ex-showroom (Delhi).
