Benelli Tornado 302R India Launch Details Revealed
Benelli has revealed the India launch details of its fully faired motorcycle, the Tornado 302R. The motorcycle will be equipped with ABS as standard fitment.
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Benelli is all set to launch its fully faired motorcycle, the Tornado 302R in India. Previously the motorcycle was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.
BikeWale reports that DSK Benelli has confirmed the launch details of the Tornado 302R in India. Benelli is likely to launch the fully faired motorcycle by mid-June. But the exact date is yet to be finalised.
The Benelli 302R was supposed to be launched in the Indian market in January. But the motorcycle was equipped with BS-III engine. Now the company is ready to launch the motorcycle with the BS-IV compliant engine.
The Tornado 302R will be launched with ABS as a standard fitment. There will be no non-ABS variant of the motorcycle. The company has stated that all the new motorcycles will be launched with ABS.
The Tornado 302R draws power from a 300cc in-line, twin cylinder liquid cooled; fuel injected engine producing 36bhp and 27.4Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli Tornado 302R is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 3.7 lakh Ex-showroom. When launched in India the motorcycle will go head on against the likes of Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390 and yet to be launched TVS Apache RR 310S.
