Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Launched In India — Priced At Rs 82,400
Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Pulsar NS160 in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 82,400.
Bajaj Auto has introduced the all-new Pulsar NS160 in the Indian market. The Pulsar NS 160 is priced at Rs 82,400 ex-showroom (Pune).
Bajaj Auto is yet to make an official announcement regarding the launch of new Pulsar. But Autocar India reports that several dealers in Pune and Mumbai have confirmed that the Pulsar NS160 is on sale.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 draws power from a 160.3cc single cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 15.5bhp and 14.6Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Pulsar NS160 is based on the steel perimeter frame identical to its elder sibling, the Pulsar NS200. The overall design is similar to the NS200, but the swingarm is thinner compared to the NS200.
The new 160cc naked motorcycle features split seats, split grab rails, LED tail lamp, mono shock suspension at the rear and 240mm disc brake up front. The kerb weight of the NS160 stands at 142kg, that is 10kg lighter than the NS200. Apart from that, the dimension remains identical to its elder sibling.
Several dealers have also revealed that the current price is pre-GST and it might increase marginally from July 1, 2017. Bangalore dealers have stated that the motorcycle will arrive in three weeks and the price details will be available in the coming days.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is pitted against the premium 150cc players in the country. Now Bajaj will take on the likes of Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda with its aggressive looking 160cc street fighter. It will be interesting to see how the NS160 fares against its Japanese rivals.
