Bajaj Dominar 400 Price Hiked
Bajaj has increased the price of the Dominar 400 by Rs 1,000, which is almost Rs 3000 costlier than its introductory price.
Bajaj has increased the price of the Dominar 400 marginally, by Rs 1,000. The latest hike in price makes the Dominar almost Rs 3,000 more expensive than its introductory price.
The Bajaj Dominar was launched back in December 2016 with a price tag of Rs 1.36 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi) for the base version and Rs 1.5 lakh for the ABS variant.
The Dominar 400 is currently Bajaj's flagship offering the country and is also the company's take on a sports tourer. The engine is based on the KTM's powerplant.
Powering the Dominar 400 is a 373cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 34bhp and 35Nm of peak torque, with the help of a 6-speed gearbox. Bajaj has made use of the triple spark technology on the Dominar 400.
Bajaj has equipped the Dominar 400 well for the price bracket, making the motorcycle a good package. The Dominar 400 features LED headlights and dual channel ABS, while regular telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the rear take care of suspension duties.
Although the Dominar 400 is in the same segment as the more powerful KTM 390 Duke, the actual competitor for the Dominar is the Mahindra Mojo.
