2017 KTM RC 390 And RC 200 India Launch Date Revealed
Bajaj Auto has revealed the launch date of the 2017 KTM RC 390 and RC 200 in the Indian market. The RC twins will be launched on January 19, 2017.
KTM is all set to launch the 2017 RC 390 and RC 200 in the Indian market. A few days ago the brochure of the new motorcycle was leaked and now the launch date has been revealed.
Bajaj Auto has announced that the 2017 KTM RC 390 and RC 200 will be launched in India on January 19, 2017. The RC twins will get a major update since their launch in 2015.
The 2017 KTM RC 390 gets new livery with black and white paint scheme, but the orange colour has been highlighted. The KTM badging makes way for the new RC 390 decal on the side fairing.
Apart from the cosmetic updates the new RC 390 gets a side mounted exhaust can replacing the underbelly setup, ride-by-wire technology, slipper clutch and larger 320mm disc brake up front to shed speed quickly.
The 2017 RC 200 only gets cosmetic updates in the form of the new livery, apart from that the mechanical components of the motorcycle remains identical to the current model.
The new RC 390 will be powered by the existing 373.2cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine pumping out 43.5bhp and 36Nm of torque. The RC 200 draws power from the same 199cc motor delivering 25bhp and 19.2Nm of torque. Both engines will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The refreshed KTM RC twins will hit the Indian roads just days after the deliveries begin for the Dominar 400. The 2017 KTM Duke 390 and Duke 200 are lined up next to be launched in India this year.
