Yamaha Introduces In 2 New Colour Options For 2017 YZF-R1
For 2017, Yamaha Motorcycles will only be providing its YZF-R1 with colour and sticker updates. All new colours will be available internationally from October 11, 2016. Currently, it is unclear if Indian customer too will be offered with these new and exciting colour options.
The new colour option for the Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike is called Tech Black. It is a matt black paint scheme, that provides this superbike with a stealth appearance. We are confident that several buyers would want to get their hands on the Tech Black YZF-R1 motorcycle.
The second new colour is based on the Race Blu paint scheme, which was available earlier. Yamaha has provided the YZF-R1 with new graphics and decal option for an updated look. The new Race Blu has more blue and less silver, while the earlier model had equal proportions of both colours.
No mechanical changes have been carried out by Yamaha on the YZF-R1 superbike, apart from the paint scheme. Both colour options will be available at no special pricing.
In India, Yamaha currently offers the YZF-R1 in two colours: Racing Blue and Racing Red. Both colour options are priced at Rs. 24.75 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Yamaha could introduce Tech Black and Race Blu colour options in India by 2017.
