Yamaha Motors India has inaugurated an all-new Spare Parts Centre in Tamil Nadu, Chennai. An investment of Rs. 58 crore was made by the Japanese-based manufacturer in strengthening its presence in the Indian market. The Spare Parts Centre is spread across 30,000 sq. mts. and is located close to Yamaha India's manufacturing unit.
Present at the inauguration were Hiroaki Fujita, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group Companies. Also present were officials from Mitsui & Co., Sumimoto Mitsui Construction Co. India Ltd., Transystem Logistic International Pvt. Ltd., along with several others
Now Yamaha India has two Spare Parts Centre that will cater specifically to North and South regions in the country. The Spare Parts Centre are fully functional in Surajpur and Chennai. Optimum spare parts inventory will ensure customers quicker lead time, lower costs, and high quality.
Spare parts will be shipped out the very next day post receiving an order. Currently, Yamaha Motors India has 20 spare part distributors in 15 states of the country. Dealers and customers receive their supply of genuine spare parts from over 3,000 spare part retailers spread across India.
