Yamaha India Witnesses An impressive Growth Of 31 Percent
Yamaha Motors India has registered a healthy growth during June 2016. The Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer has witnessed a growth of 31 percent over the corresponding month and year. Sales of June 2016, include domestic as well as units sold in Nepal.
During June 2015, Yamaha India managed to sell 51,432 units. They have witnessed a growth of 31 percent, owing to the sale of 67,203 units in June 2016. Both scooters and motorcycles have contributed equally in the gain of sales during the aforementioned period.
The Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer is focussing on growing its presence pan India. At this moment, they are increasing their presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the country. By doing so, they are reaching to a wider audience which would further improve sales.
Recently, Yamaha India introduced several new and interesting products. The all-new Saluto RX motorcycle and Cygnus Ray-ZR scooter models were recently launched and have boosted sales. The company has also equipped their Alpha scooter with an optional disc brake variant.
