Yamaha India Records Selling 65,244 Units During July
Yamaha Motors India has launched several new and interesting products in the country recently. The Japanese-based manufacturer has managed to record a twelve percent growth during July 2016. Both, motorcycles and scooters have contributed in the overall sales boost.
During July 2015, Yamaha Motor India managed to sell 58,477 two-wheelers. The company witnessed the sale of 65,244 units during July 2016. Sales figures include two-wheelers sold in Nepal as well, thus attaining a twelve percent growth.
Recently, Yamaha launched the Cygnus Alpha with disc brake and Cygnus Ray-ZR scooters in the Indian market. Both scooters add to Yamaha India's dream of offering mass market products in the country. Overall, Yamaha scooters are well accepted in the country and it is reflected in the sales.
Currently, Yamaha Motors India exports several of its products as well. They have confirmed that the newly launched Saluto and Saluto RX models will be exported soon. Yamaha currently exports the Crux motorcycle to several emerging markets as well.
