Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR; The Latest Scooter From Yamaha For India
Yamaha Motors India has launched its all-new Cygnus Ray ZR scooter on April 21, 2016. The new scooter from the Japanese manufacturer is available in two variants. Previously, the Cygnus Ray ZR scooter was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.

Currently, Yamaha dealerships across India will only be accepting bookings. The customers will receive deliveries not before May 2016. Yamaha India has developed and designed its all-new scooter with a simple concept of 'Next-Generation Real Boy's Scooter'.
Powering the Cygnus Ray ZR is an 113cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, Blue Core engine from Yamaha. The engine is mated to a Continuously variable Transmission. Yamaha has kept their scooter light at 103 kgs and delivers a fuel efficiency of 66 km/l.
Now Yamaha will offer four scooters in India the Ray Z, Ray ZR, Alpha, and Fascino. With the introduction of a new scooter, Yamaha India aims to capture ten percent of the market share. Cygnus Ray ZR will compete with the likes of Honda Dio, Hero maestro Edge, and TVS Wego scooters.
