Yamaha India Updates 2016 YZF-R15 With New Colours & Pricing
Yamaha Motors India has updated its entry-level sportbike in the country. The 2016 YZF-R15 gets new colours and revised pricing. Three new colour options will be offered to customers. Pricing has also been increased for 2016 by approximately Rs. 4,200.
Here are the new colour options with the 2016 YZF-R15 Version 2.0 model:
- Revving Blue
- Sparky Green
- Adrenaline Red
All three colour options are priced the same and are available at all Yamaha dealerships. The 2016 YZF-R15 Version 2.0 model will now cost Rs. 1.18 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Yamaha designers have provided the bikes with new colours and graphic options.
The 2016 YZF-R15 Version 2.0 will be powered by the same engine without any changes. A 149cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine will produce 16.77bhp, along with 15Nm of torque. Yamaha engineers have mated this engine to a smooth 6-speed gearbox.
Recently, an all-new model similar to the YZF-R15 was spotted in Indonesia. Yamaha engineers could be working on the third generation model. The Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer has always provided more than the expectations of its customers and nothing less is expected from the YZF-R15 Version 3.0 model.
