Recall: Ducati XDiavel Recalled For Loose Sidestand Screws
The Italian manufacturer launched the XDiavel and XDiavel S in India on September 21, 2016.
Ducati North America is recalling XDiavel models manufactured from July 7, 2015, to June 22,2016. The recall is to tighten the sidestand plate lower fastening screw on the affected models.
This loosening of the lower screw could cause damage to the side stand sensor switch, causing the engine to stall.
Ducati will fix this issue free of charge. The dealers will notify the owners and replace the side stand pivot and side stand plate fastening screw. The notification for the owners is expected to begin from November 7, 2016.
The Italian manufacturer launched the XDiavel and XDiavel S in India on September 21, 2016. Let's hope this issue won't affect the Indian owners.
