Here are the best bike launches in 2017:
KTM Duke 390
The second-generation KTM Duke 390 is all set to break cover in India where it enjoys a huge fan following. The new Duke 390 features a new frame, WP suspension and a bigger braking system.
KTM's 2017 Duke 390 gets the ride-by-wire technology, TFT instrument panel, standard ABS, split LED headlamp and all-new body frame. The underbelly or the midship exhaust has given way to the side mounted pipe and a new catalytic converter.
As for the performance, the new 2017 Duke 390 will continue to punch out 44bhp and features a larger tank to increase the overall range.
Expected Launch: January 2017
Expected Price: Rs 2,45,000 approx.
The much awaited BMW motorcycle G310R is expected to give the KTM Duke 390 a solid competition. The G310R will officially make BMW Motorrad enter India.
BMW is entering the country with their partnership with TVS. As for the bike, the BMW G310R is a naked sports bike with the trellis frame, USD front forks, rear angles cylinder among others.

Expected Price: Rs 1.8 to 2 Lakh ex-showroom
TVS Akula 310
Based on the underpinning of the BMW G310R, the TVS Akula is a full faired sports bike and is a sleek looking bike.
The TVS Akula 310 will feature USD front forks and mono-shock at the rear. The sports bike will feature 17-inch wheels and is expected with the Michelin tyres and dual-channel ABS as standard fitment.

Expected Price: Rs 2 Lakh onwards
Bajaj is ready to launch its flagship bike, the Dominar in India in 2017. The company has begun the production of the cruise sports bike.
The Bajaj Dominar will be the first from Bajaj to launch a 400cc bike from their portfolio of bikes. The Dominar will feature KTM Duke's 390 engine and tuned to develop 35bhp and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

Expected Price: Rs 1.6 to Rs 1.8 Lakh ex-showroom
The Tork T6X will be India's first electric motorcycle and the company has already begun the bookings via their website.Expected to have a range of over 100km, the Tork T6X is a sporty looking bike is one of the best to answer the rising pollution levels. Power to the Tork T6X comes from the 8bhp electric motor mated to an automatic gearbox and is expected to match some of the 200cc bikes in the country.

Hero HX 250
Hero MotoCorp will enter the premium sports bike again with the HX 250. The Hero HX 250 is a fully faired sports bike and will compete with some of the 200cc and 300cc bikes.
The HX 250 is expected to feature the 249cc single cylinder fuel injected engine which produces 31bhp and 26Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

DSK Benelli Leoncino
Benelli, the Italian bike maker is already offering bikes through its association with DSK Motorcycles. The company is all set to launch its scrambler Leoncino in India by 2017.
The Benelli Leoncino will be powered by the 499.6cc twin cylinder engine which produces 46.9bhp and 45Nm of peak torque and will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
