TVS XL Super 4-Stroke Moped Launched In Tamil Nadu For Rs. 29,539/-
TVS Motors has launched its XL Super 100 moped for the Tamil Nadu market. The moped is priced at Rs. 29,539 ex-showroom (Tamil Nadu). Very first moped from TVS Motors was introduced in the country during 1980 and has been a popular product ever since.
Powering the XL Super 100 moped is a 99.7cc single cylinder engine. Under simulated testing, the moped returned fuel efficiency figures of 67 km/l. TVS Motors claims that the XL Super 100 moped can attain a top speed of 60 km/h.
Only four litres of petrol can be stored in the XL 100 Super's fuel tank. The moped weighs just 75 kilograms, however, it has the capacity to accommodate a payload of 130 kilograms. Currently, TVS Motors has no competitors in the Indian market for its moped.
In terms of design, the TVS XL 100 Super is identical to its predecessor. The only difference is an all-new four-stroke engine from the Indian manufacturer. TVS Motors has also provided subtle changes like an all-black muffler, engine, and rear shock absorbers.
Recently, the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer launched its all-new Apache RTR 200 and Victor motorcycles. TVS Motors offers several other motorcycles and scooters in the Indian market. At the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo, the two-wheeler manufacturer plans on introducing several new products.
