TVS Showcases The X21, Akula 310 And Entorq 210 At IMOS 2016

TVS has showcased the concept version of the X21, Akula 310 and Entorq 210 scooter at the 2016 Indonesia Motorcycle Show.

TVS Motorcycles has showcased the TVS X21, TVS Akula 310 and TVS Entorq 210 at the 2016 IMOS (Indonesia Motorcycle Show). All the three products are the concept version of the future product portfolio of the TVS.

The TVS X21 Concept Racer motorcycle is based on the Apache RTR 200 4V. This future sports motorcycle is expected to compete in TVS one make racing series.

The X21 is powered by a modified 212.4cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The motorcycle also features lightweight chassis, steering dampers, race levers, tace-spec components and free flow exhaust canisters.

The TVS Akula 310 concept is a product of TVS-BMW joint venture. TVS will be launching the faired version of the BMW G310R. The fully faired motorcycle is developed in-house by TVS Racing.

The Akula 310 will be powered by 310cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC, four valve engine which is also used in BMW G310R. The engine is retuned for performance.

The concept motorcycle features inverted forks, aluminium trellis sub-frame, race-spec rear suspension, gyro camera, drag reduction system and aluminium components. The Akula is likely to be renamed as RTR 300 when launched in India.

The Entorq 210 is a concept scooter which is capable of commuting in cities as well as cruising on the highways. The scooter is equipped with intelligent smartphone integration.

The concept scooter also features GPS navigation, smart key, TFT instrument console, push-button start/stop, under seat storage and 8.5-litre fuel tank.

The scooter is powered by aluminium based 212.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel injected engine which is coupled with a Variomatic transmission system. The scooter can reach cruising speeds up to 120km/h.
