TVS Motors has delayed the deliveries of their RTR 200 motorcycle for the Indian market. The Indian-based manufacturer launched its latest RTR motorcycle back in January. Bookings for the RTR 200 motorcycle have also not commenced in the country, owing to uncertainty.
Now deliveries are expected to begin within the country by April 2016. So far, no exact reasons have been provided as to why the deliveries of Apache RTR 200 have been delayed. TVS Motors has not confirmed this news, however, dealerships are confident that the model will arrive next month.
At the time of launch, TVS Motors revealed that there will be various variants of the Apache RTR 200 model. The pricing for base variant will start at Rs. 88,990 and the top-end, fully-loaded motorcycle will cost Rs. 1.08 lakhs ex-showroom.
On offer will be a regular carbureted engine and a fuel-injected option by Bosch. The TVS Apache RTR 200 will also be offered with optional ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). Optional tyres will also be provided by the manufacturer, Pirelli and TVS Tyres can be chosen by the rider.
