Deliveries Of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Begins In Select Cities

TVS Motors launched its all-new Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle in January 2016. Unfortunately, deliveries and display models did not reach showrooms for an extended period. Now, select TVS Motors dealership will begin deliveries of the Apache RTR 200 4V.

Currently, TVS Motors is only selling the Apache RTR 200 4V model in select cities. Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune are the only city dealerships where the motorcycle is available.

At this moment, Apache RTR 200 4V costs Rs. 93,880 ex-showroom (Mumbai). This means after registration and insurance are paid for the motorcycle, it would easily cross the one lakh price barrier. TVS is offering only the carbureted and non-ABS model.

Very soon, TVS Motors will introduce two more variants of the Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle in India. A fuel-injected and ABS equipped version would soon be introduced. It is unclear when these variants will be introduced, however, expect these variants to cost extra.

Powering the Apache RTR 200 4V is a 200cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. The engine produces 20bhp, along with 18Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. TVS Motors is also offering its customers the option of Pirelli tyres for an upgrade cost of Rs. 6,000.
