TVS Apache RTR 160 & 180 To Receive RTR 200 4V Styling Cues
TVS Motors recently launched its Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle for the Indian market. Previously, the Apache RTR 180 and 160 models received mild updates, which did not please the enthusiasts. Now, the Indian manufacturer will provide the RTR 200 4V styling to its existing Apache range.
Other than design, TVS Motors could also overhaul the existing engines on the Apache RTR 180 and 160 models. The new engines could receive a 4-valve cylinder head. The new engine from TVS Motors will produce more power and be efficient at the same time.
The Apache RTR 180 and 160 motorcycles could be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Both bikes could be launched in the country sometime during mid-2016. Expect both models to be priced significantly higher than its predecessor.
The Apache RTR range will consist of three naked street fighters in the Indian market. In terms of design, all three motorcycles will look similar to each other. The Apache RTR 200 4V could lose its exclusivity, however, TVS Motors expects overall growth.
At the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo, TVS Motors will be unveiling an all-new motorcycle as well. TVS Motors and BMW partnership will give birth to a fully-faired motorcycle. BMW Motorrad will also be showcasing the TVS manufactured G310R naked street fighter at the motor show.
