Triumph Daytona 675R Dominates 2016 JK Tyre Championship
Deepak Ravi won the 600cc Championship in the 2016 JK Tyre Racing Championship. Triumph Daytona 675R supersport models dominated the Championship for the second time in a row.
Triumph Motorcycles India has dominated the 2016 JK Tyre Racing Championship. Daytona 675R supersport model has outperformed its rivals for the second time in a row. The 600+cc category in motorsport racing has been dominated by Triumph Motorcycles in India.
2016 JK Tyre Racing Championship was conducted at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. The event was organised from November 18-20, 2016. All participants took part with their race-prepped Triumph Daytona 675R and Daytona 675 supersport models.
Podium finishers were Kulwant Singh in third place and Vijay Singh in second. Winner of the event was Deepak Ravi, who was also crowned 600cc Champion. Triumph Motorcycles India will be keen to continue its competitive form and win more Championships.
All-new Daytona 675 supersport motorcycle by Triumph was introduced back in 2006. Since then it has not undergone any major change in the international market. There are rumours that the Daytona 675 model will be replaced with an all-new motorcycle for 2017.
