British motorcycle maker Triumph Motorcycles is likely to launch its all-new Bonneville Bobber motorcycle in the Indian market in February 2017. The new offering will be company's fifth product in its entry-level Bonneville lineup in the country.
The new Bonneville Bobber is based on the Bonneville T120. The motorcycle features all-new chassis, suspension and frame. The design is even more retro style than the regular Bonneville models.
The Triumph Bonneville Bobber is powered by 1200cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 80bhp and 105Nm of torque. The same engine is also employed on the Bonneville T120.
The motorcycle gets two riding mode - road and rain. It gets switchable traction control system which in turn optimises torque delivery when traction is compromised for rider safety.
The motorcycle will be offered in four colour schemes - Ironstone with a matt finish, Morello Red, Jet Black and a combination of Green and Frozen Silver.
The new Bonneville Bobber will also sport a feature-rich instrument cluster, rear mono shock suspension underneath the seat, ride-by-wire technology, ABS, torque assist clutch and LED tail lamp.
It is expected that the new Bonneville Bobber will be launched with a price tag of around Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
