Tork Motorcycles has unveiled its all-new electric motorcycle for the Indian market. Pre-bookings for India's very first electric motorcycle have opened and Tork Motorcycles has witnessed an overwhelming response from potential buyers.
Now, within a span of 24 hours post unveil, Tork Motorcycles has received over 1,000 pre-bookings. The T6X was unveiled in Bengaluru at an introductory price of Rs. 1.25 lakh. Initially, Tork Motorcycles will offer the T6X only in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Pune.
Electric energy will be stored in a lithium-ion battery for T6X electric motorcycle. Tork Motors explain that the battery can be fully charged within two hours. This battery will have a lifespan of 1,000 recharge cycles or approximately 80,000 kilometres.
The T6X Electric Motorcycle will feature mobile app support, along with a digital TFT display unit. Tork Motorcycles has also equipped the electric motorcycle with geofencing, anti-theft, mobile charging port, helmet storage, DRLs, GPS, and navigation features.
So far, Tork Motorcycles has not confirmed a launch date for its T6X Electric Motorcycle. Stay tuned for more updates as several new manufacturers try and explore the future of mobility. Interesting times are up ahead in India with regards to electric vehicles.
