The middleweight bike category in India is on the upswing with many sports bike enthusiasts taking the path that some of their contemporaries were hesitant to venture. Thanks to the stable economy in India which has opened the market to some of the best sportbike manufacturers entering the country.

1. 2017 Honda CBR650F
Honda has updated the 2017 CBR650F significantly on the exterior, equipment and an increase in power by 4bhp. The bump in power is courtesyof a new intake and exhaust flow system.

The new Honda CBR650F sports a new fairing and adds a bit of functionality by transmitting the air from the front into the airbox intake duct. The updated bike gets new 41mm Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBV) front forks which offerbetter ride quality and handling than the previous model.
The spec for the upcoming middleweight bike Honda CBR650F is the 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine which produces 88.57bhp and 64Nm of torque.

2. Royal Enfield 750
Royal Enfield CEO Siddhartha Lal revealed in October that they will launch something big in March 2017. The company has been working on abigger engine for some time now and we expect the Continental GT to get the 750cc mill.
The upcoming middleweight bike from Royal Enfield had the guise of the Continental GT which was spied in Spain testing with a dual exhaust. Most of the styling remains the same as the Continental GT 535.
The Royal Enfield 750 is expected to feature a 750cc, twin cylinder engine which might produce 50bhp and 60Nm of torque.

3. Benelli TRK 502
With adventure biking in India witnessing a spike in interest, manufacturers are readying an adventure bike from their portfolio. Royal Enfield fueled the initial burst with its entry-level adventure bike Himalayan.
Now, Italian bike maker, Benelli will bringthe TRK 502 adventure bike. The Benelli TRK 502 features a dual headlamp setup, knuckle guards on the handlebar and windshield to benefit its touring image.
The factory stock bike will receive 17-inch alloy wheelboth in front and rear with Pirelli Angel tyres. The off-road model will come with the19-inch wheel up front and 17-inch at the rear with Metzeler tyres. The bike is powered by the 499cc twin cylinder engine and produces 47bhp and 45Nm of torque.

The Kawasaki Z650 is the naked version of the Ninja 650. The Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been redesigned to be in sync with the new models from Kawasaki. The fuel tank and the wheels receive cosmetic updates.

Ducati in India have the higher spec Multistrada 1200 and the sport bike maker is ready to bring the smallest multi-bike to its range in the country. The upcoming middleweight bike Ducati Multistrada 950 is based on the trellis frame.
Looks wise, the Multistrada 950 is more or less the same as the Multistrada 1200 and will come with four riding modes (Touring, Sport, Urban and Enduro) and the ride-by-wire technology. It also boasts of Ducati Safety Pack which includes the latest Bosch ABS with 3-level adjustment and 8-level Ducati Traction Control.
