With the scrambler madness spreading like a wildfire through the motorcycle market, Suzuki also joined the party with its 2017 SV650. To be honest, the model is not a full-on scrambler, but it looks like one.
Sadly, the 2017 SV650 is only for sale in France. As of now, Suzuki has no plan on selling this motorcycle elsewhere. However, a video surfaced on the internet of the new model recently.
For making it a more off-road capable machine, Suzuki added a lot of aluminium accessories including Dunlop Mutant tyres, wider LSL handlebars and larger footpegs. It also gets a scrambler style small wind deflector, radiator shrouds, chain guard, and front mudguard.
Add to that, there is also a retro-style headlight protection, saddle and LED turn signals. The engine is stock, the suspension and the exhaust is also left untouched.
The price for the 2017 SV650 in France is € 7,999 (Rs 5.81 lakh), which is more than the base model that is currently sold in other markets.
