Deliveries Of Locally Assembled Suzuki Hayabusa MY 2017 Begins In India
Very first units of locally assembled Suzuki Hayabusa has been delivered to its customers in India. The locally assembled Suzuki Hayabusa witnesses a price slash worth Rs. 2 lakh.
Suzuki Motorcycles India had announced that it would soon be commencing local assembly of its flagship model. The Hayabusa would be offered in India as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) model. Now, the very first locally assembled Hayabusa's in India will be delivered to customers.
Very first units of Suzuki Hayabusa MY 2017 have been delivered to customers in Delhi. Suzuki Motorcycles India will soon be rolling out locally assembled Hayabusa models across the country soon. The Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer is focussing on its superbike segment in India.
Due to the CKD operations, Suzuki Motorcycle India was capable of reducing Hayabusa prices by Rs. 2 lakh. Currently, Suzuki Hayabusa costs Rs. 13.57 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). This makes it an affordable offering within the superbike range in the Indian market.
Powering the Suzuki Hayabusa is an inline four-cylinder 1,340cc liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 197bhp, along with 155Nm of peak torque output, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suzuki Hayabusa is capable of attaining top speeds in excess of 300 km/h.
