Suzuki GSX-S 1000 Discount Available In India Till March 31
Suzuki launched its GSX-S 1000 motorcycle in India a while ago. The Japanese-based superbike maker is now offering a discount worth Rs. 50,000 on their litre class motorcycle. Several other offers on exclusive merchandise are also being offered by Suzuki.
All discount and offers are applicable only until March 31, 2016, at authorised Suzuki dealerships. Kushitani armoured riding jacket will be available at a special price of Rs. 60,000. Suzuki Motorcycles India is calling their scheme as the SalesFest.
The GSX-S 1000 is Suzuki's naked streetfighter motorcycle. It is a stripped down version of their GSXR-1000 superbike, which is a close replica of their MotoGP and WSBK competition bikes. In India the GSX-S 1000 is priced at Rs. 12.25 lakh, with the discount the bike now costs Rs. 11.75 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Powering the Suzuki GSX-S 1000 is a 999cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 143.5bhp, along with 106Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suzuki has also equipped the motorcycle with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and TCS (Traction Control System).
Recently, Suzuki Motorcycles India announced a Rs. 2.38 lakh price reduction for its Hayabusa. The superbike is now available in the country via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route. Suzuki is planning on introducing several new and exciting models in India soon.
