Royal Enfield Introduces All Women Himalayan Odyssey; Registration Open
The iconic motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has introduced the All Women Himalayan Odyssey and will be flagged off from New Delhi on 9th July, 2016.
A women only edition of the Himalayan Odyssey is powered by STRE (She Travels on a Royal Enfield), a community of women riders who travel around the globe. The inaugural edition will be called HO-W (Himalayan Odyssey - Women).
The entire edition is for 17 days and will cover 2200kms on some of the toughest and highest mountain ranges in the Himalayas. The dates are from 9 July to 23 July 2016. Apart from the women riders, the support staff which includes service staff, technicians, doctors, and crew will be all women.

The Himalayan Odyssey is open for both men and women and will be flagged off from Delhi at the same time, however, they will travel different routes before meeting at Leh, Ladakh. The month of May and August is the best time to travel in the Himalayas as it will take you through the heat to cold terrains.
The route of the Himalayan Odyssey will include one of the highest motorable roads in the world, the Khardung-La which is 18,000 feet above sea level and many riders call it the mecca of riding on a bullet.
The Himalayan Odyssey began in 2003 and has grown every year, the ride itself is a test of physical and mental ability and break barriers and realize the potential of you. Royal Enfield has been encouraging every rider to embark on this journey.
