Royal Enfield Himalayan: CS Santosh Helps In R&D [Photos & Videos]
The Royal Enfield himalayan is special by itself for many Bulleteers. But what makes this adventure tourer even more special is that CS Santosh, India's best off-road racer himself was part of the development.
When Royal Enfield had to test the off-road pedigree of the motorcycle, there is no one better than the only Indian to compete in the Dakar Rally. CS Santosh put the motorcycle through its paces at his home ground, roughing it out in the dirt, as how an adventure motorcycle should be ridden.
The truth is, even the off-road champion, CS Santosh was surprised by how the motorcycle felt at home, off the road. He was even amazed at how the motorcycle felt, compared to his rally machine. CS Santosh feels that there is enough power, but not so much to intimidate a rider.
