Piaggio Opens Motoplex Showroom In Chennai; Third In India
Piaggio has inaugurated its third Motoplex showroom in the Indian market. The third premium two-wheeler outlet is now open in Chennai. The Italian-based two-wheeler manufacturer is aggressively inaugurating Motoplex showrooms in India, ahead of their upcoming launches.
The Motoplex Chennai outlet is spread across 4,061 sq. ft. and is located on 4th Avenue, Ashok Nagar in Chennai. Present at the inauguration was Stefano Pelle, Managing Director and CEO, Piaggio India. He was accompanied by Satish Mehta, Executive Director, Chennai Motoplex.
On display in the Motoplex outlets will be the premium range from Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, and Vespa. Motoplex will also have a service facility that takes care of all their premium products. Range of exclusive lifestyle product will also be offered to their customers.
All of the Motoplex showrooms in India are on par with the international stores. Currently in India, Motoplex outlets are present Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Internationally, Piaggio has Motoplex showrooms in Singapore, Shanghai, Milan, and New York.
During the 2016 Auto Expo, Aprilia showcased their first 150cc scooter, which will be made in India. The Aprilia SR150 was expected to be launched in India by mid-2016 and we are confident that this scooter will be sold only through the Motoplex outlets. This could be one reason for the aggressive expansion of Motoplex outlets pan India.
