Peugeot Scooters To Debut At 2016 Auto Expo By Mahindra

Peugeot's two-wheeler department was recently acquired by Mahindra and Mahindra. The French-based manufacturer is now likely to showcase several of its scooters at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo. Several scooters are likely to be displayed at Mahindra's stall itself.

So far, no launch plans have been revealed by Peugeot or Mahindra. The Indo-French duo could make an announcement regarding sales in India at the 2016 Auto Expo. Models to be displayed at the event have not been confirmed so far by Mahindra-Peugeot.

Currently, Peugeot scooters are extremely popular in European countries. The French-based manufacturer has a wide range of scooters, ranging from 50cc to 400cc. On offer by Peugeot in several markets are scooters, mopeds, and even a three-wheeler scooter.

There is a high possibility that Peugeot could showcase its Maxi scooters at the motor show. Mahindra would like to explore new segments within the country. Previously, Kinetic had introduced the Blaze as one of the few Maxi scooters. Honda too could be introducing their version of a Maxi scooter for the Indian market.

Based on the response Mahindra and Peugeot experience at the 2016 Auto Expo, products could be introduced. Once launched in India, Peugeot models could be placed as a premium brand by Mahindra. Stay tuned for more updates as we will be present at the 2016 Auto Expo.
