MV Agusta Showcases The Dragster 800 RC Prior To 2016 EICMA Debut

MV Agusta has provided its Dragster 800 model with their RC (Reparto Corse) treatment. The Dragster 800 RC will be showcased for the very first time to the general public at the 2016 EICMA Motor Show.

MV Agusta is ready to showcase several interesting two-wheelers at the 2016 EICMA Motor Show. Now, the Italian-based superbike maker has showcased its all-new Dragster 800 RC (Reparto Corse) model. The livery has been inspired by MV Agusta's WSBK race machine.

Mechanically, Dragster 800 RC is identical to the Dragster RR naked street fighter. The 798cc in-line three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces 140bhp, along with 86Nm of peak torque. Engineers have included a race-derived counter-rotating crankshaft as well.

The Dragster 800 RC also features various carbon fibre components. Inverted Marzocchi fully adjustable front forks have been included. The rear shock absorber is sourced from Sachs, which is paired to the Dragster 800 RC's single sided swingarm.

Currently, MV Agusta offers the F4 RC, F3 675 RC, and F3 800 RC models. This is the very first time MV Agusta has provided its Reparto Corse treatment to any other model apart from their fully faired superbikes. More details on the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC will be revealed soon.
