There are 4 interesting races left until the end of the season, but the manufacturers are already preparing for 2017. A few weeks ago, MotoGP and FIM announced the provisional calendar for 2017 season and along with it, the tests dates were also decided.
The first two days of tests will be after the Valencia GP. Then the riders and team will be free to test until 30 November. Teams have 5 days of testing available throughout the year.
Jorge Lorenzo won't be able to take advantage of this year because he will be released from his contract with Yamaha to ride the Ducati only at Valencia in 2016. So, he has two test days with Ducati in this year.

Then the MotoGP circus will move on to Phillip Island from 15 to 17 February. The final winter test is held in Qatar from 10 to 12 March, a couple of weeks before the opening round.
