MotoGP Rider Bradley Smith Injured In A Crash At Oschersleben
MotoGP rider, Bradley Smith, who rides for Tech3 Yamaha MotoGP team, crashed in the practice session of Endurance World Championship's final round, the eight hours of Oschersleben. He was lucky to come out of this crash, without any broken bones.
Smith was called in by Yamaha WEC squad, with the hope of winning constructors title. But the British rider was out in the practice session on Thursday morning. The reason for the crash is, Smith made contact with a slow rider on track, and the other riders made contact with Smith.
Smith was immediately taken to hospital in a helicopter, where after the x-ray reports, it was clear that he had not suffered any broken bones. Smith remained in hospital till Thursday afternoon, to get his wound leg stitched.
Smith crashed just a week before his home MotoGP round at silverstone. He has made his switch from Yamaha to KTM after the end of this season.
