Michelin Introduces City Pro Scooter Tyres For Indian Market

Michelin has decided to enter the scooter segment which is huge in India. The French tyre manufacturer will be introducing scooter tyres up to 150cc. A wide range from Michelin will be introduced under the brand name of City Pro.

The City Pro tyre by Michelin will be available in a single tyre size of 90/100-10 53J TL, which can be used for the front as well as the rear. Michelin claims that this tyre works at their optimum when speeds are within 100 km/h and can take a maximum load of 206 kilogrammes.

Several scooter owners in India can opt for the new Michelin tyre. The entire scooter range of Vespa, Honda, and Suzuki are compatible with the City Pro tyre. The Pleasure and Maestro scooters from Hero MotoCorp can also make use of the modern tyres.

The Michelin City Pro tyres for scooters have been designed to tackle high impacts and stresses caused in city traffic. The tyre is designed to reduce the risk of punctures. City Pro tyres get an all-new tread pattern with circumferential grooves for superior wet grip.
