Even

remains.
Fabrizio is ready for a new challenge. Before stepping into the WorldSBK season, the Italian rider is preparing for a return to the race track as he is set to compete as a wild card in the final round of the CIV Championship at Mugello on the ninth of October with the Genesio Bevilacqua run Althea BMW Team.
The Italian rider states, "I will participate as a wildcard in the last round of the CIV but the decision has only been recent. The race will act as a kind of training, we have no expectations. I've only ridden the BMW a little but honestly I feel good with it."
He stayed busy during his break from the world championship, managing his own race team and gaining further experience. His has won the Italian Speed Championship.
He continues, "I've been training to get in good shape and prepare for what WorldSBK races demand. Nothing is set in stone. Some think this race in Mugello is my return, but a return must be done well and that's what Genesio is helping me with at the moment.
"We'll see how it goes in Mugello, and if all goes well, then we will decide if a return to Superbike is possible.
"I've always wanted to return. Now we are still evaluating it, step by step. In my mind, I am focussed and if I do return, it won't be as the ‘return of Michel Fabrizio' like other times, it will be more like a first time."
