Marc Marquez currently leads the 2016 MotoGP Championship by 52 points. Previously, Marquez cited that he needs to win just two races to put the title out of Rossi's grasp. The Repsol Honda rider won at Aragon and is looking to end the Championship at Japanese GP.
Only four races remain in 2016 MotoGP season and Marquez would like to wrap the Championship as soon as possible. Marquez needs to have a 76 point lead over Valentino, if the Spaniard wins and Rossi scores no points, we will be crowning 2016 MotoGP Champion.
So far, Marc Marquez has won four races in 2016, Valentino Rossi has won only two races, and Lorenzo has won three races. This is MotoGP and a lot could still happen with four races still to go. Both Rossi and Lorenzo still stand a chance to grab the 2016 MotoGP title from Marquez.
Motegi is Honda's home circuit and Marquez would like to honour the team with a Championship winning ride. Unfortunately, the Japanese GP is not one of Marquez's favoured tracks and the layout usually suits Yamaha riders, which should make it an interesting battle.
Japanese GP will be contested from October 14 to 16, 2016. Valentino Rossi would like to reduce his point deficit, however, he also needs to make sure Lorenzo does not surpass him in the Championship. Marquez will be determined to win Honda's home race in spectacular fashion.
