Have you ever wondered what it is like to be an expert test rider starring in the KTM's big-budget promo video? Well, check out behind the scenes promo video of KTM's epic 1090 Adventure R and 1290 Adventure R launch film.
The promo video shot at the exotic locales of Morocco is indeed a lot of work capturing the terrific power slides and monstrous wheelies on video.
The promo video titled "Morocco 1090R/ 1290R Behind The Scenes" stars Aussie Adam Riemann and Brit Paul Bolton pushing the limits of KTM's adventure bikes.
While Riemann is on the 2017 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R, Bolton is right behind him with the 2017 KTM 1090 Super Adventure R. Both the riders thrash the big bikes through unforgiving desert terrain look easy, and fun.
Riemann has ridden and raced big adventure bikes all over the globe and is best known as the man behind Motology Films.
Bolton is an enduro star with races like the Erzbergrodeo to his credit. What is interesting is that this Morocco trip was the first time he has ever ridden a big adventure bike.
Behind the Scenes of a Big-Budget KTM Promo Video
Being Bolton's first time on the big adventure bike, it does not take long for him to get a hang of it. After fixing a flat tyre and all sorted out, the duo get down to business.
Everything gets glamourous, both punish the terrain of loose gravel, sandy trails, wheelie up some of the steep crevices of the rock formations and even hand leg out like a flat-tracker racer.
Then comes behind the scenes of the promo video as Riemann and the director scout for locations, shots and angles. The video suddenly seems be over which might have taken hours to set up, shoot, and reshoot.
One of the scenes on the beach which has the two sliding around wet sand involved 30km of slogging through the beach.
With the bouncing around a field meant ride after ride through and around cactus bushes and a punctured radiator hose and navigating a rocky canyon meant holding on to dangerously high speeds.
