Mahindra Two Wheelers had promised that its Mojo motorcycle is an international product. Now, the Indian-based two-wheeler manufacturer will be introducing its flagship motorcycle in Nepal. The Mojo will be making its debut in Nepal at the 2016 Nepal Auto Show.
Launch of the Mahindra Mojo in Nepal is scheduled soon after its debut at the Auto Show. Two Indian riders recently commenced their journey from India to Nepal on the Mojo. Present at the flag-off was PS Ashok, V.P. of R&D at Mahindra Two Wheelers.
Both riders will embark on a 1,200-kilometre journey with the Mahindra Mojo from Pune to Nepal. Derrick Daniel and Sarath Shenoy are the two Indian riders chosen for this ride. The duo will ride through Jhansi, Indore, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, and finally Nepal.
Powering the Mojo will be a 295cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from Mahindra. This engine produces 27bhp, along with 30Nm of torque, and is mated to 6-speed gearbox. Unfortunately, Mahindra does not offer the Mojo with optional ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
