Mahindra has launched the Gusto 125 scooter in Bangalore. Prices for the new Gusto 125 start at Rs. 50,680 ex-showroom (Bangalore).
The Guso 125 is being launched across the nation in a phased manner and at present is only available in the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The Gusto 125 is available in two variants, the Gusto 125 Dx which is priced at Rs. 50,680 ex-showroom (Bangalore) and the top end Gusto Vx which is priced at Rs. 53,680 ex-showroom (Bangalore).
Powering the Gusto 125 is an all new 124.6cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine that produces 8.5bhp and 10Nm of peak torque.
The Gusto 125 features telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear and it sits on 12-inch wheels that are fitted with tubeless tyres.
The new Gusto 125 is available in four different colors - Orange Rush, Bolt White, Monarch Black and Regal Red
Style wise not much has changed on the Gusto 125 compared to its smaller capacity sibling. The only major change is the restyled front which features larger indicators with clear glass lenses. The vents have been changed as well and look a lot better without the flashy chrome.
The Gusto 125 features a height adjustable seat along with find me lamps that blink and cause the scooter to beep to help you find your scooter easily in a crowded parking lot.
Another feature is the guide light which lights up the road in front of the bike so that you don't stumble about in the dark. All these features are only available in the top end Vx variant.
The Gusto 125 will be available across Mahindra showrooms in Bangalore and Karnataka and will go up against Honda's Activa 125 and the new Access 125 from Suzuki.
