Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has unveiled its new entry-level adventure model, the 1090 Adventure. The model is heavily based on the 1050 Adventure. There are two models - 1090 Adventure (road-biased) and 1090 Adventure R (more off-road concentrated).
The 1090 Adventure is available with two power options. A full power option churning out 125bhp and other at 95bhp, for A2 license holders. Both are powered by the same LC8 1,050 cc V-Twin engine and has 108Nm of torque.
Adventure models have lightweight box pistons, twin spark ignition and various DLC-coated parts. The motorcycles are also equipped with steel trellis frame, slipper clutch, traction control, ABS and a range of riding modes.
The instrument cluster is the same twin-screen VDO dash with twin LCD screen and bar-mounted selection switch. Both motorcycles have adjustable handlebar, foot pegs, levers and screens for riders of different sizes and different rider preferences.

The 1090 Adventure is equipped with Metzeler Tourance Next tyres and R model comes with knobbly Continental TKC 80 Twinduro tyres.
