Spy Images: KTM 800 Adventure Spotted For The First Time
The upcoming KTM 800 Adventure has been finally snapped for the first time. As seen in the spy images, the test motorcycle seems to be at an early stage of R&D.
KTMs' CEO Stefan Pierer had previously confirmed about the development of a new 800cc motorcycle in an interview.
Pierer said that the new motor would be used to propel the new naked motorcycles from the Duke family, and then followed by an adventure motorcycle.
The chassis, swingarm, exhaust, fuel tank, and the 800cc parallel-twin engine, are all developed from scratch for the upcoming 800cc adventure. The engine and chassis will be later used on several other KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles.
If launched in India, the KTM 800 Adventure will compete against the likes of the Triumph Tiger 800 XCX and Africa Twin.
