Design Changes And More For The 2017 Kawasaki Versys 650 — Details And Design Revealed
Kawasaki plans on revamping its Versys 650 motorcycle for 2017. Several changes are expected to be carried out on the adventure/touring motorcycle. Leaked patent images suggest that Kawasaki engineers will add several new tech goodies to the 2017 Versys 650.
Body panels will be redesigned for better aerodynamics. Kawasaki will be adopting a one-piece side body fairing. Fuel tank will also be resculpted into a narrower design for improved ergonomics. Mirrors will get smaller and wider for better rear view vision.
Rider and passenger seats will be narrowed maintaining overall design of the 2017 Versys 650. Kawasaki engineers will be offering a dual purpose grab rail, which can be used as a luggage rack as well. An all-new exhaust system will also be adopted on the Kawasaki Versys 650.
No tweaks are expected to be carried out on the engine. The 2017-edition of Versys 650 is only expected to receive a BS-4 compliant engine. This will help Kawasaki sell the adventure/touring motorcycle in markets that have stringent emission norms.
