Kawasaki Is Secretly Developing An All-New Ninja 1000
Kawasaki Motors have been secretly developing an all-new Ninja 1000 model. Now we have a few images to share with you based on their patent drawings. The all-new Kawasaki Ninja 1000 will enter the sports touring segment around the world.
Recently, Ducati showcased its all-new SuperSport 939 model at the World Ducati Week. Kawasaki's new Ninja 1000 will be competing head-on with the Ducati SuperSport 939, in the sport touring category. So far, there is no news as to when the new models will be launched.
From the patent images, it is clear that the new Ninja 1000 will sport an aerodynamic bodywork. Kawasaki Ninja 1000 will be adopting winglets similar to that seen in their Ninja H2 and H2R models. Riding posture will be more relaxed and upright to cope with long distance riding.
The motorcycle is being developed in secret as Kawasaki does not want any tech being replicated. In terms of engine and power output, not much is expected to change on the Ninja 1000. Kawasaki engineers will have to re-tune the engine to make it Euro4 compliant.
