Yamaha Won’t Allow Lorenzo To Speak About Ducati Until 2017

Yamaha has allowed Lorenzo to test the Ducati race machine in the post-season test at Valencia. But the Japanese firm will not allow the Spaniard to talk to the media about his first outing with the Desmosedici.
Till 2017, Yamaha has allowed Jorge to do only the post-season test for two days. Lorenzo showed his disappointment in a press conference about Yamaha's decision.
Meanwhile, other manufacturers such as Suzuki will allow Maverick Vinales to run in the test Yamaha has scheduled for the end of the month. Ducati also allowed Andrea Iannone to test the Suzuki machine this year.
Lin Jarvis, Yamaha Boss said, "It's business. It's sport, absolutely a sport, but it's not charity. This is business."
He also added, "Of course, Jorge would like to be given the opportunity to test because his mission is to get up to speed as quick as possible, to be as fast as possible with the Ducati next year.
"But next year he will be one of our main competitors. His wish and desire are different to ours."
