Indian Scout FTR750 Flat Track Race Debut On September 25

Indian Motorcycles had announced their plans to make a return to racing soon. The American two-wheeler manufacturer has now showcased its all-new race machine. Scout FTR750 will be making its race debut on September 25, 2016.

The Indian Scout FTR750 will be seen competing at Santa Rosa Mile AMA Pro Flat Track event in California. Riding this all-new race machine will be AMA Pro Grand National Champion, Joe Kopp. He has experienced victories in various forms of two-wheeler race events.

Scout FTR750 has been specially designed and engineered by Indian Motorcycle Racing division. An ultra-light steel frame has been adopted for Indian Scout FTR750 race machine. Body parts have been formed out of carbon fibre components to reduce weight.

Powering the Indian Scout FTR750 is a 750cc V-Twin water cooled engine. This engine has been specifically developed for racing purpose by the Indian Motorcycle racing division. Gary Gray, Product Director Indian Motorcycles is proud that the brand is returning to Flat Track racing.

Roland Sands will be participating in the SuperHooligan race. He will be riding a customised Indian Scout Sixty motorcycle. The SuperHooligan event will take place a day prior to Santa Rosa event.
