Indian Motorcycle Returns To AMA Pro Flat Track 2017 Racing Series
Indian Motorcycle confirms that they will be re-entering AMA Pro Flat Track Racing. They will be taking part as a complete factory outfit since their last endeavour back in the 1950s. Over the years, Indian Motorcycles secured several championships.
The American-based two-wheeler manufacturer is an iconic figure in the Flat Track racing series. Indian Motorcycle was best known for its Wrecking Crew. Bill Tuman, Bobby Hill, and Ernie Beckman won race after race riding Indian Motorcycle machines.
Jared Mees will join the Indian Motorcycle Racing Team, as their test rider for 2016. He is a multi-time AMA Grand National Champion and is currently aged 30. Progress of the motorcycle and other details will constantly be updated via Indian Motorcycles social media channels.
At this moment, Indian Motorcycle will be making a wild card entry during 2016 itself. This, however, will be preparation for a full season participation in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates and information on Indian Motorcycles re-entry into Flat Track Racing.
