Honda launched the Navi, a crossover scooter, at the 2016 Auto Expo held in Delhi and it went on to grab the attention of auto enthusiasts.
The Navi was well priced and it added to the attention is grabbed on its new contemporary design. Within two months of its launch, Honda sold 10,000 units in sales and it continues to be a hot seller for the company.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) announced that the Navi has crossed another milestone of reaching sales of 50,000 units within six months since the company started deliveries.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president, sales and marketing, HMSI commenting on the success of the Navi, said that with the Navi Honda has been successful in creating a new segment in the two-wheeler industry.
Not many were convinced with the new design which Honda Navi introduced to the country; however, it has turned the tide on its critics by achieving a milestone of 50,000 unit sales.
Honda has powered the Navi with the same engine as the Activa, which is a 110cc single cylinder petrol mill. The engine produces 7.72bhp and 8.96Nm of torque.
The Honda Navi is available in Street, Adventure and Off-Road trims and prices start from Rs 42,449 ex-showroom (Delhi) and falls in one of the most affordable pricing bracket in two-wheelers.
The Honda Navi is 7kgs lighter than the Activa with dimensions of 1,805mm in length, 748mm in width, and 1,286 in wheelbase. Also, the Navi gets a 156mm in ground clearance.
Honda is offering the Navi in vibrant colors of Patriot Red, Shasta White, Black, Hopper Green, and Sparky Orange.
