Honda Navi Registers 900 Bookings Since Its Launch In February
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched a unique little offering at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Japanese-based two-wheeler manufacturer christened this new product as the 'Navi'. With the Navi, Honda has created an all-new segment which sits between motorcycles and scooters.
Now the Japanese manufacturer has received over 900 bookings for the Navi within its launch, which was held during February 2016. Honda also reports more than 15,000 downloads of the Honda Navi app for mobile. The Navi is priced attractively at Rs. 39,500 ex-showroom, (Delhi).
Powering the Navi will be a 109.19cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from Honda. The engine will produce 7.83bhp, along with 8.96Nm of peak torque output and receives an automatic V-matic transmission. Honda claims that their Navi can attain a top speed of 81 km/h.
The Navi is currently available in five exciting colour options from Honda, namely, Patriot Red, Sparky Orange, Hopper Green, Shasta White, and Black. At the 2016 Auto Expo, Honda showcased the Navi in various avatars like an off-road, adventure, and street models, so far there is no indication as to when those options will be available.
Honda's Navi is a highly versatile product and various customization options will be provided. The Navi is aimed at young Indian buyers who want to stand apart from the crowd. Overall size of the Navi is not at all intimidating and looks like a decent pocket size motorbike.
